For those of you who haven’t heard yet, Google has just decided to publish all of their keyword search volume data within their keyword research tool. This is a big deal. Now you don’t have to look at a little graph bar and guess what kind of traffic a keyword might bring you.

You can use this new information to do better research for keywords, before starting a new blog or website. Also, you can use this to decide on important keywords to use when writing articles.

I’ve found the best way to use Google’s keyword tool, is to research as many keywords as I can think up for my niche, so that I get lots of long tail results. Then using the results I get, I write down keywords that I’m thinking about using and their average volume. Once I have that, I Google the keywords with quotes around them to see how many sites may rank for that keyword. You’ll find that by using both of these pieces of data you’ll be able to make better decisions when making your keyword list.

You should be very excited, I know I am. This is a great tool, and you’ll begin to see the value in this information the minute you start using it. If you haven’t checked it out yet then click here.
